Hello, My LTD company's financial year runs from May 2022 till April 2023. I have already filed the company tax returns and accounts. My questions are as follows: Corporation ax and Company Accounts: 1. Can I declare final dividends from the LTD company to myself for the FY2022-2023? 2. If yes, do I need to adjust the company accounts to reflect such final dividends? 3. Do I need to re-submit the company accounts again to the Company House? 4. As there is no tax impact of dividends, I hope that there is no need to re-file corporation tax returns. Please confirm? Personal Tax Impact: 5. As the dividend gets distributed to me during Jan 2024, for my personal tax - will it be considered a Dividend Income for FY2022-23 [06 Apr 2022 to 05 Apr 2023] or FY2023-24 [06 Apr 2023 to 05 Apr 2024] ? Appreciate your kind responses / inputs and thank you in advance.

Hi V9,
1         Provided there are sufficient funds, the voting of dividends is a matter for the director/s to decide.
2 & 4  Yes, the balance sheet should be amended to reflect this.
3         You would need to check with companies house and personal tax teams for your other queries.
5         This will be considered 23/24
Thank you.
