My small company (which had been active for some years) has ceased trading. It has had no significant transactions in this financial year. I have three questions: a) Is my company 'dormant' for Corporation Tax? b) Is my company dormant according to Companies House? c) What is the correct SIC code to use on my confirmation statement? Should I put down 'dormant' (99999), 'non-trading' (74990) or both? Many thanks

Hi Mert,
For HMRC purposes please see our web page www.gov.uk/guidance/corporation-tax-trading-and-non-tradingCorporation Tax: trading and non-trading
For enquiries relating to Companies House, you will need to contact them for a reply to your questions relating to them.
Thank you.
