I'm a UK citizen and taxpayer, resident in the UK. I want to gift money to my daughter who lives in Australia. She is an Australian citizen and taxpayer and does not have taxable income in the UK or pay tax in the UK. Is there a limit on how much money I can give to her and are there any taxes payable on the gift?

Hi,
No.
There are no UK tax implications for giving or receiving cash gifts.
Thank you.
