I have a managed portfolio that is rebalanced a few times a year. This rebalancing results in capital gains/losses. Do I need to report 'Number of disposals' and 'Disposal proceeds'? Or is this covered by "Ignore disposals you do not make in your own capacity, for example, disposals you make as a trustee."? Thanks

Hi,

Based on the info you have provided, the capital gains or losses result from the rebalancing of your own personal managed portfolio and should therefore be reported in your Self Assessment tax return.

Capital Gains Summary notes

Thank you.

I understand that I have to report these capital gains or losses. I just want to clarify that I need to report the number of disposals and disposal proceeds. Thanks

Hi Gordon23,

Yes you need to confirm the number of disposals made in the tax year with an overall total.
You can attach a PDF document online with this if there are numerous ones.

Thank you.
