Does a non-uk resdient still need to file a real time capital gains submission within 60 days of completion or is it fine for them to just put it on their tax return.

Thank you, but it is not very clear if the 60 day deadline applies to non-residents as well. As when you file a tax return the box to enter capital gains tax already paid via the real time submission disappears

Yes, the 60 day deadline applies to non residents when selling UK residential property. If any other type of gain, no.

Tell HMRC about Capital Gains Tax on UK property or land if you’re not a UK resident
