Sale of overseas property at a loss

Having sold our holiday home at a loss after CGT allowance, do I need to advise HMRC of the disposal as retired and am not required to complete an annual self assessment return?

Hi Mitch,

You still need to report the sale if the disposal was more than £49200 for 22/23 or £24000 for 23/24.
