If two siblings who equally own a property, sell it, and one person were to receive 66% of the selling price; does that person pay CGT on 50 % or 66% of the gain?

Hi,
The gain should be on the share of the actual ownership unless there has been a declaration of trust submitted showing a different beneficial ownership for a different rate to be applied.
Thank you.

Hi, thanks for that. Can I also ask. If a property that was purchased in 1959, was gifted to children in 1995, but one relative became a dependant relative in 1988. Would this qualify for Dependant relative relief? Thanks.
