Hi there, Back in 2016 my father had purchased a property and put my name on the title deed alongside his name, he paid for the property entirely and I had no equity in the property in that sense. We have just recently transferred the title to his name entirely, and removing mine. There was no cash consideration exchanged for this as well. Questions: 1) Do I still need to notify HMRC for CGT reasons given no cash was exchanged? 2) Do I still qualify for 1st time buyer stamp duty allowance given I didnt have equity in the property? Many thanks! Thanks

Hi
You will need to send in a declaration of trust to show that you are not benefical owner of the property. For stAMp duty, you will need to contact 0300 200 3510.
