Deed of property transfer - CGT notification and First Time Buyer Allowance
Hi there, Back in 2016 my father had purchased a property and put my name on the title deed alongside his name, he paid for the property entirely and I had no equity in the property in that sense. We have just recently transferred the title to his name entirely, and removing mine. There was no cash consideration exchanged for this as well. Questions: 1) Do I still need to notify HMRC for CGT reasons given no cash was exchanged? 2) Do I still qualify for 1st time buyer stamp duty allowance given I didnt have equity in the property?
