Last year I made 3 sales of shares. The first two produced capital gains of £500 and £700. The third produced a capital loss of £1000. Thus I made a total gain of £200. Do I have to declare the loss anywhere?

Hi,
As it is in year losses, the loss is set agains the in year gains and is not carried forward to be used at a later date, you therefore just need to keep details for yourself.
Thank you.
