Hi, I have been asked by HMRC to self assess on line. In tax year 2023 I have around 600 trades of stocks/shares/warrants Will this process ask me to provide a computation for each transaction? If so I will not be able to do this: I am disabled, unable to work, and unable to use a computer. I am unable to do such a lengthy process on smartphone either. Am I able to complete SA108 by hardcopy, with my computations for loss/gains, and then print off broker reports and send those too? or will I have to do a CGN12 600 times there, too? I have also been asked to do a return each year from 2020 to current. Thank you.

Hi

Yes you can provide your own computations and broker reports to support your information.

Thank you
