Hello, I became uk tax resident in 2022. I am due to receive a stock award vesting in 2024 for my employment that finished in 2021 (It had 3 year vesting schedule). Since I was awarded this stock before me becoming a UK resident for the work done also before I became UK resident , would this award need to be taxed for UK tax purposes if I were to bring this award in the UK after receiving it? I am also a non-domiciled in the UK.

Hi

Yes you will need to declare it. As non domiile you can claim remittance basis and if you bring it to the UK it is taxable.
Please see Paying tax on the remittance basis (Self Assessment helpsheet HS264)

Thank you
