Hi, I am a UK resident. In 2017 I inherited a small farm ( house, buildings and some land around) from my father. Now I want to sell it and buy my first house in the UK ( never owned a house except the inherited one). How should I deal with the Gain Tax in the UK? Thank you, Regards, Mati

Hi Mati,
You will need to report the sale in the UK but you can claim foreign tax credit relief for the capital gains tax paid in Poland to reduce our UK bill.
Thankl you.
