Response time for reporting CGT and untaxed income

Letter and calculations sent in February to finalise late mothers estate as administrator. Total tax due less than 10k. Guidance says send in letter and await instructions from HMRC as to how to pay. Please advise how long untill I will receive a response or who may I contact? We cannot finalise until HMRC have been paid

Unfortunately the guidance does not provide a response time as this type of issue is not included in the type of query covered. It advises to phone HMRC. If I try to contact HMRC as advised will they be able to locate my enquiry? Thanks
