Hi, my husband and I file SA tax returns online due to joint rental income. We have now sold the property. I have declared by CGT however when we have gone to do my husband's it appears his account is a Business Tax one (I obviously did this in error somehow) so it won't let him file a personal CGT return, it appears to always assume it relates to a trust. How do I file the CGT return for him personally? He is unable to access personal tax online as all identity checks fail repeatedly. Can we just file a paper CGT return for him?

Hi Sn00py42!!,

You will need to set up a new personal capital gains account - Report and pay your Capital Gains Tax

Thank you.
