Hello, I'm considering selling a property which was bought as my main residence, but before living in it I was working abroad for my company who paid for my rented accommodation and my house was rented out for a period.  Once returned to UK, I moved into it for 9 years, but then sent abroad again to work for 5 years in company funded accomoadation, so rented it out again.  Once returned to the UK, I lived in it a few days whilst renovating, but I also lived in a property I don't own so I could see my daughter who lives further away. So, question is, can I claim occupation or 'deemed occupation' and PRR for:- a) the first period of working abroad. b) the period of 9 years I lived in it as my only/main residence.  c) the second period of working abroad  This reference seems to indicate I can due to working abroad being the reason for it temporarily not being my home?  "CG65050 - Private residence relief: residence before/after period of absence" Sorry it's complicated,  but hence the reason for asking.  Please confirm and thanks for your help.
