Hello, I have £11K of Capital Gains from UK Buy To Let property sale, and couple of days later realised Capital Losses of £7.5k from stock market - can these be offset as part of the CGT return to be filed and paid within 60 days of BTL sale? Asking this clarification because in the return, one line says..."You must have made the losses before DD MMM 2024 (i.e. the sale date of the BTL property)" If my Losses are realised few days after the Gains, are they still eligible for offsetting? Regards

Hi ,

They are still available for offseting at the end of the year but they must have occured prior to the sale of the property

to be included on the 60 day reporting return  .

Thank you .
