Morning,
I work in import/export department and our company has incoming shipment to GB from US. Some of the items are under 73- commodity code meaning they require a declaration from the seller/supplier that the materials are not of Russian origin.
The declaration we received from supplier is written and signed(typed) in Microsoft Word. Is that type of signature allowed? Would a digital signature like DocuSign be allowed in this situation? What my company has to obtain from the supplier to assure import compliance on our part?
Kind regards,
