Hi HMRC Team, I recently relocated to UK. I have submitted transfer of residence application on 8th July 2023. So far I haven't received any response from HMRC team, Could you please tell me when I can expect the outcome? Best regards, Rejish

Hello Rejish Typically takes 30 days from application to approval . Once you have approval follow the documents required link , if you are bringing the goods your self ,go through the Red Channel declaring the documents . If you are contracting out , the company shipping the goods will require your TORO1 Reference and details of the weights of items , and any certification for controlled goods .

Thank you very much for your reply. I have submitted my application on July-08-2023. So far I haven't received any updates. I contacted your Transfer of Residence customer service team(0300 322 7064) and escalated three different times and also requested for call back from TOR team. Unfortunately, I haven't received any updates on my application. Could you please suggest me any possible alternate approach to get the status of my application?

Hi Andriuhivity
While your personal tax account may only make your records from 2019/20 available, you can apply for a record from any year here -
Request your employment history from National Insurance records.
Alternatively, contact us by webchat or phone via Income Tax: general enquiries.
Thank you.
