Customs Transit Process

Hi, I have a customer that is AEO authorised and has ITSF chartering their own planes. They want to truck a consignment under T1 from Dublin to their airside facility in the UK airport and close the T1. They want to send the goods into EU and they want to open a AWB from the airport of loading to EU and create a T2 for this movement. Can this be done?

It does not seem correct that goods can be T1 status and then become T2. T2 status usually applies to EU Union goods moving through the UK to an EU member. It used to retain the EU status. Surely using T1 for the first part of the movement would break that link.

That is what I thought and the fact that the T1 is cleared airside and the T2 created has no relevance.
