Hello, My wife and myself were approved a couple of years ago for the NLR1. Our old tenant has moved out and a new tenant has moved in on 5 June. What wall I do? Do I need to provide HMRC with the details of the new tenants? The Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement has a clause that informs the tenants that the landlords are non UK residents, provides them with the numbers of our NRL1 authorizations, and instructs them to write to the HMRC.

Hi ,

Thank you for your question as long as your circumstances have not changed and you have continously rented out the property then your NRL1 status should be unchanged.

Should your circumstances change please notify us as soon as possible, for more information please refer to our gov.uk pages .

Thank you .
