A few years ago my father left me a property. I am the sole owner of the property. It is one building but has 3 separate addresses 2 separate shops and a flat above, Can I give my wife one of the rents as she does not pay tax, to stop me going into the 40% tax

Hi,

By completing a deed of assignment, you can transfer the beneficial interest in the property while you will retain the benficial ownership .
