I am to sole owner of a property with 3 different rents, Can I give one of the rents to my wife as she does not have any income

A few years ago my father left me a property. I am the sole owner of the property. It is one building but has 3 separate addresses 2 separate shops and a flat above, Can I give my wife one of the rents as she does not pay tax, to stop me going into the 40% tax
