HI team. To let property in my council area I am required to have a selective licence, and as this is held solely for the purpose of letting the property, I believe it is an allowable expense. Please can you advise which box on the self assessment form this would fall into, e.g. is it 27 other professional fees? Many thanks

Hi,
You are correct. We would advise declaring such licence fee within the professional fees box of the SA105 Property supplementary page.
Thank you.
