Dear Sir/Madam, I am now a UK tax resident. I have rental income from a Hong Kong property for the tax year from 1/4/23 to 31/3/24. The total amount of rental income is fully taxed in Hong Kong under it's Property Tax and I will have paid for it in full by next month. As a UK tax resident, I need to report Rental income from oversea property under "Income Tax" in UK. As there is DTA between HK and UK, can I claim the tax credit relief for this rental income which was already taxed and paid in HK for tax year 23 -24 in my UK self Assessment ? Thanks.
