CF83 processing time and cut off

Hi there, Both my wife and I submitted paper versions of the new CF83 form in August of this year (the online CF83 wouldn't work for our situations). From reading online, I understand that the processing time for these forms can be up to a year. The deadline for making voluntary contributions back to 2006 is 5 April 2025. It seems unlikely that our forms will be processed and we'll have time to make payments before this date? What can we do? Thank you.
