Hi all, I am a Greek national and I am currently considering to set up an LLC in the UK as a foreigner/European, taking advantage of the virtual address scheme. I will be offering M&A (merger and acquisition) services to Greek companies mainly (e.g. identification of investors for such companies). I want to ask whether I could be paying social insurance ONLY in the UK, whilst living in Greece. From research I have conducted, I understand that I need to be making such contributions to the country that I WORK in. However, I do not precisely work in Greece as I do not rent any space or produce/manufacture any products in Greece, I am just offering consulting services to Greek entities. So, since I am just offering consulting services, is there any way to just pay social insurance in the UK, rather than in Greece? Thank you very much in advance for your response and guidance, At your disposal, Michael

Hi,
You will need to refer to Set up and run a limited liability partnership (LLP)
You should contact the Greek authorities to obtain whether they class you as employed or self employed there.
We cannot give you a liability decision on this forum, this has to be received in writing and our International Caseworkers will review each application separately case by case.
Thank you.
