A payment was transferred from Australia using a company called TorFX to pay the voluntary gap years. It was made from their UK bank account. The account paid into was 08-32-20 1200 1004 Account name used HMRC NIC Receipts, using the NI number with IC surname and first initial. The payment was returned as unable to apply funds. When I called the HMRC the lady told me the payment was still showing as it had been paid but the monies are back in the account from where it was paid. TorFX has said they have made payments for others with No issues. Help! Where do I go from here?

Hi,
I can confirm that you have been using our correct bank details and correct format of your 18 Digit Reference Number.
You may wish to speak with the organisation that tried to transfer the money for help.
Details of other methods of payment available to you can be found via Pay voluntary Class 3 National Insurance or Pay voluntary Class 3 National Insurance
Thank you.
