I checked my NI record a few months ago, and had a number of years missing, as I'd been unwell and just managing to look after my husband and family and not going out to work. I didn't claim any benefits ever during those years. I paid the full specified amount of NI showing in September, which said if done so, I would then receive the full pension of £221 I've checked today, and it's now saying I will get a pension of £214 unless I pay the missing years?

Hi,
You will need contact our National Insurance team to confirm that your payment has been correctly allocated.

Once that has been confirmed, you will need to contact the Department for Work and Pensions to find out why your pension has not increased in the way you expected it to. Contact the Future Pension Centre
