I checked my NI record a few months ago, and had a number of years missing, as I'd been unwell and just managing to look after my husband and family and not going out to work. I didn't claim any benefits ever during those years. I paid the full specified amount of NI showing in September, which said if done so, I would then receive the full pension of £221 I've checked today, and it's now saying I will get a pension of £214 unless I pay the missing years?
