Hi jerrymaker,
Details of how to pay your voluntary National Insurance contributions may be found via
Pay voluntary Class 3 National Insurance
You do not have to pay all of the tax years in one go – but we would ask that you make at least one full tax year at a time or multiple tax years at a time.
Please bear in mind the time limits for your voluntary contributions to reach us.
When we receive your payment we will arrange for it to be allocated to your National Insurance account, it will then reflect on your Personal Tax Account.
If we have not allocated your payment as you wished then you may wish to call our National Insurance Helpline on 0300 200 3500 (from the UK) or +44 191 203 7010 (from overseas) and they will be able to help further.
We would ask that you wait at least 10 working days from sending your payment before you call our Helpline to allow for your payment to be shown on your account.
To check how many tax years that you need to pay to reach a full State Pension, please call the Future Pension Centre on 0800 731 0175 (from the UK) or +44 191 218 3600 (from overseas) and they will be able to help you about this.
Thank you.
