Hello, When viewing my NI record online, it indicates in the forecast that I have 7 contributing years so far, however in the full breakdown only 4 years appear to be actually full at present. Looking for a reason for this apparent discrepancy, I came across this previous forum thread on here: https://community.hmrc.gov.uk/customerforums/ni/95f26221-f52b-ee11-a81c-000d3a8751e3 I wonder if my account is affected by the same bug. I too moved too the UK around the same time as the other poster. I would like to know if my account is "flagged" for these three years to be removed later on, as HMRC Admin 8 indicated it may be the case in the other post. I have tried calling the DWP and HMRC and ask, but the employees on the phone did not seem to know anything about this. I also moved back to my home country for several years after initially coming to the UK and before moving back here, so I would really need to be sure that those extra years derive from the aforementioned bug and not, for example, from my years working in another EU country. I can see that HMRC Admin 8 has given the other poster a postal address to write to, that is: Individual Caseworker, PT Operations North East England. BX9 1AN. I would like to enquire via post as well. Is the above postal address correct and the same for every contributor regardless of where they are located in the country? Or is there a different Individual Caseworker address that I need to write to? Many thanks

Hi

You can also send a letter into Individuals caseworker, they can review your National Insurance account if you think it needs to be reviewed for this scenario. Please ensure the letter has the national Insurance number, your name, address and date of birth on there.
Please detail the issue on the letter also.

The address to send the letter to is:
Individual Caseworker
PT Operations North East England
BX9 1AN

Thanks
