Hi All, I worked for a UK company from 1996 to 2005. I'm tried to get a National Insurance contributions statement with CA3916, but they say I did not provide a correct NI #, that the one provided was a temporary one. So I requested my NI# with CA5403, but I was responded that I did not have one and I should request one from DWP. To get a NI number to need to reside in the UK or access web site from UK and I live in France now. Any idea who could help in that matter. Thx in avance Luc

Hi

You would need to contact the Department for Work and Pensions as they deal with National Insurance number registrations:

Apply for a National Insurance number

Thank you,

It does not work as the site says : "You can apply for a National Insurance number if you: - live in the UK - have the right to work in the UK - are working, looking for work or have an offer to start work"
