Class2 NI contributions now due. I have no 18 digit ref.no. Can I post a cheque to pay instead.

I have completed and filed my 2022/2023 SA Tax Return. I followed the HMRC link to pay the Class 2 NI contributions that are due but I do not possess an 18 digit Reference Number, so now I can't go any further online with the NI cont. payment. Can I post a cheque to HMRC and pay that way? Has anyone paid this way and did it work?

Just to help you. I read on here if you go online and use the digital assistant they can rustle up the 18 digit reference and may be more reliable than a cheque in the post""
