*Retired Jan 18 with 46 full year contributions to 2017-2018. *State pension started Nov 19. (2019-2020). *Applied to pay voluntary contributions. Have received information for 2018-2019. * But nothing for 2019-2020. *Am I able to pay voluntary contributions for 2019-2020 in what would be a partial year ( ie up to November 2019 when the state retirement pension started)

Hi MT24,

It would not be worthwhile to pay voluntary National Insurance contributions for the start of the tax year in which you reached State Pension age as this would not count for pension purposes.

Thank you.
