I pay class 3 contributions via direct debit. However no debit has been made since April. My current record is 1) 34 years of full contributions; 2)2 years to contribute before 5 April 2025; 3) 2 years you did not contribute enough. I will be 66 in July 2025. I called HMRC and the guy said that i have paid enough according to his records. How can that be if i have not made contributions for 35 years? Appreciate any reply.

Hi ALI ANTAR,
May I ask that you contact The Pension Service to check your current entitlement to a State Pension.
It may be that you do have a full entitlement but they will be able to confirm this.
Their telephone number is 0800 731 0175 (from the UK) or +44 191 2187777 (from overseas).
Or you may wish to ask for a State Pension Forecast via  Check your State Pension forecast
Thank you.
