I paid my class 2 self employed contributions in March 2023 for year ending April 2022 it is still not showing on my record despite having a letter from you confirming all of my contributions. Also I am now told by DWP that my 2021 contributions are showing zero as of 12th Sept 2023. On my online record they are showing as paid in full?? What do I do?

Hi Jowitch72,

If you have access to your Personal Tax Account (PTA) you’ll be able to see if the tax year is shown as paid.  If you don’t have a PTA you may wish to set one up via Personal tax account: sign in or set up.
If your class 2 contributions are not shown as allocated, or you don’t have access to your PTA, then please call our National Insurance Helpline on 0300 200 3500 and they’ll be able to check your payment and arrange for it to be allocated to your National Insurance account.

Thank you.
