In March I received my reply to the CF83 for I submitted. I phoned the tel no on the reply to (pension service) confirm the number of years payments I am short and which years would contribute to my top up. I then phoned the number they supplied to inform them which years I would be paying as not all the missing years would contribute to top up my pension. The 2 tax years I quoted were noted by the person I spoke to, I was then asked to make payment on line using ref WK8555823DICMARSHMI. I was informed once payment is received the gaps would be filled for the years quoted and noted on my file. I made the payment on 7th March 2024, to date I haven’t even received a receipt as acknowledgement of payment received and of course the gaps have not been updated on my pension account. When will HMRC acknowledge payment received and process the update of the missing years?

Hi,
We apologise that your payment of voluntary contributions has not been allocated to your National Insurance account yet.
Please call our National Insurance Helpline on 0300 200 3500 (from the UK) or + 44 191 2037010 (from overseas), they will be able to allocate your payment straight away.
If you could have your payment details handy when you call then this would be helpful.
Thank you.
