Pay Class 2 National Insurance if you do not pay through Self Assessment:
Make an online or telephone bank transfer
There is information on how to pay from an overseas bank account under the heading ‘Paying from an overseas bank account’. Your reference number would be your National Insurance number, followed by IC then your surname and initial.
If you want to pay by cheque, you should send this in sterling, made payable to:
‘National Insurance Contributions & Employer office’
With a covering letter to the following address:
