Basic PAYE Tools earlier year update for 2016/2017

Hi there, I need to submit an earlier year update for an employee who has received a Statement of Liabilities as a result of a Simple Assessment, however Basic PAYE Tools will only allow me to go back to 2017/2018 can anyone advise on how I can provide the correct data to HMRC. Many thanks Julie

As this is what we refer to as an out of date year, you will need to write in to the employers office with the details for us to investigate.
