Why has my 24/25 Tax Code Changed - and appears incorrect

My personal allowance for 24/25 has just be reduced to £9880 - and the proposed figure for 25/26 is showing as £9909. This seems to have been prompted by a withdrawal of some pension funds - though the figure seems incorrect. As many others are finding I'm sure - I can't get in touch with HMRC to discuss this. 'It has not been possible to connect your call!!!' How do I query this and rectify this issue?
