Hello, I am currently employed in the UK and I am a tax resident here. My contract is finishing (tax code 175L) at the end of the year, and following this, I will recieve a short-term stipend (schollarship) from a University in Germany. Given that scholarships are tax-free and there is no employment in place, do I need to declare it? Will I be taxed on it? Thank you very much for your help!

Hi,
If you meet the conditions at EIM06230 - Employment income: scholarship income: meaning of scholarship then you do not declare it.
You do make reference to it in the comments section of the return.
Thank you.
