New Pensioner Payroll PAYE Set Up

When setting up PAYE for a new pension scheme, is there a specific route for a pensioner payroll, or is it just the normal PAYE for employers route?

Can someone please advise on this. I've spent hours on hold to your employer helpline, only to be told that you need to transfer me to another department and then I'm put back at the start with the AI questions. Are there any HMRC admins around to help?

It would be the normal route for registering for as an employer but you need to indicate that the reason for the scheme is due to paying out an occupation pension scheme.
This allows us to set up the correct scheme and the filing expectations for the scheme.
