Error in the payment and employement records

I have error in my employment records in HMRC and i believe it is deliberately made by my employer because there are some issues and the police investigation is going on The error is that i ended my employment with them on 22nd August 2024 and the end date which they have mentioned in my records is 5 april 2025 which is months later I need to rectify this but i strongly believe my employer wont do it . so i need the HMRC to change it. I have my payslip as proof. Kindly help me out Thanking You
