As per the P45 provided by my former employer, no PAYE income tax was deducted from my monthly payroll. Please advice if that is correct and any remedial actions needed.

It depends on your income for the year to the date you left & your tax code.

So, the employer is only obliged to deduct the tax after reaching a certain level of total payroll?? my tax code is 1257L
