I have been operating my limited company since October 2021 and have not filed my accounts yet with Companies House and HMRC, and they are now overdue for submission for more than a month. During the period I have withdrawn money from the company and was advised that it is incorrect. My accountant advised that it needs to be done via payroll which I now agree, however how can go ahead with the PAYE registration. Will my salary that after submitting the payroll will be considered a qualified expense for the company, as I was reading somewhere it provided a timeline of 9 months to submit the RTI after the end of accounting period and I am now in the 11th month. Can you please advise.

Hi Cillian Stewart,

Your accountant will advise you to what is allowable expenditure for your company, we cannot provide accountancy advice.
For PAYE/Payroll information, please refer to our web page PAYE and payroll for employers.

Thank you.
