Hello. I applied for EA for 24-25 at the start of the year, I believe in April. For our April 6 - May 5th PAYE bill, the total payroll taxes, NI, etc. was £4,401.54, and then it shows a credit of £1,157.08 (employer portion of NI contribution). We have direct debit set up, so HMRC debited £2,087.38. But then it shows £1,157.08 amount due and it also says it's overdue. This is clearly not right.. will it be reversed once NI for the year exceeds £5,000? Thank you!
