Hi Due to job relocation, I came to the UK on 2nd Feb 2021. So far, I have been filing my tax on remittancr basis. Now with the new non-dom tax regime, I undertand I will not be able to file on remittance basis for my next filing. There are comments suggesting remittance can be made for the first 4 tax years tax-free. I am wondering whether this arrangement is eligible to me now before April 2025.

Hi

The new rules for the remittance basis do not come into effect until 6 April 2025.  This means that you can continue to use the existing rules up to then, when submitting your tax return.

Thank you
