Hello. Basically from November 2023 to February 2024 I had 2 jobs, and was taxed accordingly. When I finished that job it was removed on my hmrc app on current jobs. However from then until August 2024 I've still had the 925L tax code, which should've been 1275L. Ive now finished this job To get this money back is it best to just complete the tax refund when out of work form online? Or is this more complicated and I should ring up? Thanks for reading, I'm still young and getting used these things

Hi,
If you have no more live employments and think you will not be receiving any more taxable income in the near future, you can apply for a in year tax repayments using this link -
Claim back Income Tax when you've stopped working (P50)
If you think you will be starting employment again soon then it will be easier to deal with it via your new employer.
If that is the case once you have receievd your first pay you can contact HMRC so we can review the information we hold for the year and issue a new code to them.-

Thank you.
