I understand you don't pay National Insurance on savings interest, but is savings interest taken into account as an income when repaying a plan 1 student loan? Thanks

Hi, subsequently I found this document on the HMRC website talking about if you earn over £2000 of "unearned income" you will need to make student loan repayments on the full amount, so full amount from £2001 https://www.gov.uk/hmrc-internal-manuals/collection-of-student-loans-manual/cslm16035 HMRC Admin 19 is this not the case?

It turns out you do repay your student loan from unearned income over £2000, dividends and savings interest. Also pension contributions add to the threshold before repayment, which I wasn't aware of. I suppose this is all calculated for you in an online return, but it's good to know.
